1. We are more than excited to announce NEBRA UPA, the first Universal Proof Aggregation protocol in production. NEBRA UPA brings 10x plus gas cost reduction and composability for zero-knowledge proof verification.

3. NEBRA UPA is our first product: it uses recursive SNARKs (a.k.a proof aggregation) to effectively scale zero-knowledge proof verification on Ethereum/EVM chains. Using NEBRA UPA, proof verification cost can get more than 10x reduction (an average Groth16 verify costs 250K).
4. This is achieved without adding additional trust assumptions, such as trusting hardware vendors (i.e. TEE), or trusting a small set of signers. NEBRA UPA's security is purely backed by 1 million Ethereum validators and cryptographic security (i.e. Math).
5. UPA is performant. In December, 2023, we did a stress test of UPA: NEBRA UPA aggregated 1,000,000 proofs within 36 hours. This corresponds to a 10 proofs/second throughput. And the average latency of verifying a proof is around 2 mins. sepolia.etherscan.io/address/…

7. NEBRA UPA will be open sourced at MIT/BSD licenses once the security audit is finished. We have been working closely with ABDK Consulting and Zellic for the audits.
8. Meanwhile, NEBRA is standing on the shoulders of giants, we leverage open source contributions from Zcash Foundation, PSE, @scrollzkp, @taikoxyz, and Axiom on the Halo2 proof system that is powering NEBRA UPA.
